Solo Show in Summit County

The Summit County Arts Exhibit Committee juried my work into the County public buildings for May and June. I'll do a quick little 5 minute interview for Altitude TV, and a demo of various surface design techniques in conjunction with this show. Paint Day

I took a piece of manilla folder, and drew a butterfly on it with Tulip dimensional paint, and let it dry. It gave me a slightly raised design for printing with. I painted it with acrylics and pressed it down on fabric that I'd already tie-dyed.

Fiber Art Exhibit at NCAR

Had a wonderful time at Susan Brooks's reception. Bob, Marge, and Terry came with me, and we all loved the quality of her work - the deconstructed silk screening, the organic look of her stitching, the colors.
